Description

DESCRIPTION - This listing is for a 4 page pattern in PDF (digital file) of Two Icelandic Sweater Patterns "Keflavik #7608A and 7608B" and a hat pattern.

Everything old is new again! Scandinavian designs, in particular the Icelandic and Swedish Bohus knitting of the 60's were a big part of high fashion and pop culture in not only Europe, but all over the world.

Vintage 60's Reynolds patterns "Keflavik #7608A and 7608B" - One 4 page file has complete directions and charts for both sweaters and a hat. The colorwork in the yolk captures stunning geometric color blending achieved easily by knitting in the round.

SIZES: HIS or HERS to fit chest measurements 34"/36"/38"/40"

STYLE: Both sweaters are knit from the bottom up on circulars . Sleeves and body start with 1x1 ribbing. Both body and sleeves continue up to where they join together. Then all stitches continue upward on circular needles, forming the yolk and neckband. Ribbed neck band is loosely cast off.

COLOR PLANNING: Sweater on photo left is designed as a 4 color pattern ans sweater on photo right is designed as a 3 color pattern. Suggestion: enlarge and copy the design graph to plan different colorways.

YARN: The original yarn was Reynolds "Lopi". Thick, soft spun wool yarns are popular know and many would suit these designs. Make sure to check Gauge with whatever yarn you choose.

GAUGE: Width - 7 stitches = 2 inches Length - 5 rows = 1 inche

PRINTING : This PDF has been scanned from an original pamphlet (no copyright marks). Print out one 8.5 x 11 sheets both sides or 2 sheets single sides. I have enlarged the graphs from the original to read easier.

Sorry, no refunds on digital files as they are downloaded at time of purchase and not a tangible item.

Please contact me if you have any questions, comments or concerns. Thank you!
