This is a graceful five strand cultured fresh water peacock pearl necklace. It was purchased in Hong Kong,China in the 1970s. The 1.15" clasp is made of Sterling silver. The strands are graduated with the shortest strand measuring 16" and the longest strand measuring 20". The strands have been hand knotted. The peacock pearls are an unusual shape, they are 1/2 pearls with irregular shapes! Very interesting look..the pearls flash purple, green and Tahitian grey. Fabulous presence when worn...
