Noted Women of Europe and America Authors, Artists, Reformers, and Heroines Queens, Princesses, and Women of Society Women Eccentric and Peculiar
by Parton, James
Published by Phoenix Publishing, Hartford, CT (1883) First Edition - no previous editions stated.
Measures 8x5.5x2 inches Weighs 2 pounds 1 ounces

Condition: Good.
Lovely green cloth boards, with black text and gold and black decoration at front. Spine text is gleaming gold gilt fancy text.
Impressively weighted book has clean strong pages save a few age spots.
Boards have scuffed covers and corners with a bit of fraying at edges; as expected. Front inside cover has been taped and the first free endpage appears missing. Back endpapers upon close inspection appears to have once contained a cardholder, but there are no stamps to indicate this belonged to a women's club or other organization. It will display nicely.
