WOODFIRED SOAP DISH #1 - Wood Fired Soap Dish - Wood Fired Pottery - Wood Fired Stoneware - Ceramic Soap Dish - Ceramic Soap Holder
Description
A wood fired soap dish that has been colored by flames and glazed by the wood ash in the fire.
It was thrown on the wheel then altered by throwing it on a stone slab then shaped and dried in a cotton sling. The raised spiral helps keep the soap out of the water.
The stoneware clay used to make this soap dish has been formulated to take the heat of a cone 13 (approx. 2450 degrees F.) wood-firing. The color, glaze and fly ash spots are from the fire. It was fired in an anagama kiln stoked with wood every few minutes non-stop for 5 days. Signed.
About 6 1/4 inches long and about 4 1/4 wide.
If you buy more than one item the shipping may be more than it should be. If it is I will combine the shipping and refund the overcharge. If you want an estimate of the actual shipping before buying contact me.

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this yarn bowl is! I’ve been looking for something really special for a long time and I’m glad I waited!
On the rare occasion that it isn’t in use, it will look lovely displayed on a shelf.

This item shipped within a day or so of my order, and it is beautiful. The blues on the white background are stunning. It might be of interest to other customers that these lovely spoon rests have a number of uses other than in the kitchen. I have one in my office that I use for paperclips and other small items, as well as one that I enjoy as a decorative item on a table in my living room.

Shipping policies
Orders are very carefully packed and shipped the next business day. In the states I ship Priority Mail, Parcel Select, Priority Mail Express, or UPS.
I ship Internationally to many countries. I do not ship to some countries where I've had problems with delivery, customs, or insurance, or other retailers have reported problems with lost shipments (such as Italy, Russia, and Brazil). Internationally I ship Priority Mail International and Priority Mail Express International.
In order to pack pots to prevent the Post Office and UPS from damaging them, they have to be very carefully packed with a lot of packing material, so shipping is expensive, especially internationally.
If you buy multiple items the shipping charge may be considerably more than the actual cost. If it is I will send you a refund for the overcharge. If you are buying multiple items and think the shipping charge is too much, let me know, but keep in mind that shipping pottery is very expensive because of the weight of fired clay and its fragility.
The closer you live to Georgia, the cheaper the shipping.
