Description

A New Pattern for September, 2016

This is a paper pattern, not a finished piece!

Recommended linen is 35 or 36 Count Mocha from Weeks Dye Works. (NOTE: the chart lists Weeks' "Linen" as the recommended fabric and this is NOT correct.) The antique sampler is stitched with silk threads and I've listed Needlepoint Silks, plus DMC, and Gentle Art Sampler Threads as options. The stitch count is 217 wide by 274 high.

The verse is stitched over one thread of linen and reads:
The Son of God who once came down
To bleed and wear a thorny crown
The Prince of Life, the Morning Star
Shall judge the nations at His bar.

Thank you!
