This is a digital pattern and tutorial in pdf format for a very small (size 1 and 1/4'' (3cm) when done in size 20 thread) tatted 3D Christmas tree, ready for an instant download.

This tutorial will take you through all the steps in detail to enable you to make this little trees. The pattern is visual and suitable for anyone who can tat rings, chains, split rings, and make lock joins. This is a pattern written for two shuttles but can be also made using one shuttle and a ball thread. The necessary quantity of thread is given for all parts.

There are two diagrams, one with stitch count which will enable you to quickly find your way around the pattern and one for beading. Both instructions and tutorial details are written in English. Competent needle tatters should be able to work this too if they understand the needle tatting method sufficiently, although no specific instructions for needle tatting is given. These pattern will suit anyone from beginner to experienced level.
