Here is a scallop box that are part of my mother nature sale.
It is made from curly and ambrosia maple. It has a small bark inclusion in the lid.
Due to these natural defects, I'm discounting them 20%. Regular price is $125. They are otherwise perfect. Becasue these are natural imperfections, I wouldn't even call these boxes seconds.

Exterior Dimensions: 8″ (20.3cm) x 4″ (10.2cm) x 1.5″ (3.8cm)
Interior Dimensions: 6.75″ (17.1cm) x 3.25″ (8.25cm) x .9″ (2.29cm)

This seller usually responds within a few hours.

The finish I use is a CAB acrylic lacquer from Sherwin Williams with the vinyl sealer base coat. I often use paste wax with steel wool to make the piece feel better to the touch and to bring out the sheen.
Very little care if any is necessary aside from removing dust occasionally. You can use an air canister if you like. You may also use any wax type polish to bring out the sheen. If alcohol or a chemical gets on the piece, wipe off immediately. Letting a chemical sit will ruin the finish.
The leather lining I use is a synthetic suede called Ultrasuede. It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Custom orders are accepted based on wood type only, unless a large quantity is desired. My boxes are all made in batches and are not conducive to size changes. I can do monograms as seen in this listing:
