ON SALE The BEST Victorian Woman's Thread Work Linen Boudoir Jacket Great Wedding Piece
Description
Probably one of my most favorite pieces I have ever had. Almost as perfect as they get and a very fine Linen. The drawn or pulled thread-work is wonderful and intricate. This is the kind of work that made me love Victorian clothing so much. If you think about the time that went into making this...at least doing the thread-work, it represents a portion of one's life. If you have a large amount of handwork you become the keeper of one's labor and love.
This was a dressing robe or jacket but would be a beautiful contemporary piece as a wedding jacket or definitely a one of a kind article for your wardrobe or wedding. The condition is sturdy and clean with just two tiny holes beside the tucking on the sleeve on the left....and one tiny pinhole in the back under the collar.
It has sleeves that go to a point and trimmed at the neck with lace beading and ribbon. There is tucking and a "sailor type " collar in the back. I have done a heavy contrast on the photos so you can see the detail, which I had a hard time capturing.
across the top shoulder = 18"
sleeve length = 22" to point
collar= 6.75" wide
back length = 23"
front length = 19.5"
front sides each = 12"
across back under arms = 23"
around arms = 16"
The way it is made would allow it to fit a wide range of sizes.

I require payment in three days but will work with you if you contact me and make other arrangements. If I don't hear anything from you in three days I will be canceling the sale and re-listing the item. I have had problems on my other site where things are left in carts without payments for a week or so before I realized it wasn't actually bought. All I need to know is the "plan". Thank you for your business and I hope you enjoyed your visit. Please let me know if the item is to your liking. Thanks again...Bonnie

Returns and exchange details
I list as accurately as possible. Please ask me questions. Generally I have always had a policy to not accept returns or refund on vintage items, due to the nature of the beast. But nothing is ever set in stone. If I do exchange the shipping is paid by you and I do not refund shipping. But I have been in the retail end for so long there certainly are variables. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase or feel that I missed something on my listing please contact me right away. I am easier to adjust to a quick contact versus a 2 week wait or so.

Shipping policies
I ship right away if I am in town but sometimes it will be shipped within a few days. It depends on if I am in town or not as I do go away for shows on occasions.
