Luminous sapphire in deep blue! This is a laboratory grown 8 x 10 mm blue sapphire, chemically identical to a natural sapphire, with great intensity and depth of color. Sapphire is one of the hardest, most durable stones.

The sapphire is hand set in a dainty, feminine ring and decorated with a crescent of granules of graduated size. Each granule is individually fused in place. Granulation is a pretty touch often used in ancient and historic jewelry.

Before the stone was set, the size 5-1/2 ring was hand fabricated and torch fused from Argentium® sterling silver, without use of solder. The band is slender 2 x 3 mm comfort fit, a modified oval in cross section.

Argentium® is more expensive than regular sterling, contains a greater percentage of pure silver, and is highly tarnish resistant. It is environmentally friendly, being manufactured from only recycled silver.

This ring will arrive in a silk pouch. It will be shipped to you via US US First Class Mail with tracking. Or upgrade to faster US Priority Mail small box, which includes tracking and insurance.
