Description

We have accumulated this lovely Towncraft train case (and 2 others) in October 2016 at a Russell County, Kentucky estate sale. Inside all three of the cases, much to my delight, were vintage embellishments such as: ribbon, lace, appliques, fabric etc. Vintage stationary were also included. Thus, this was our inspiration in creating a romantic, feminine Victorian design with tweed like fabric with the original leather handle & trim all around the borders of this case. Closed case dimensions are: Width= 12" Height= 7" Depth= 8-3/4"

We have added a new finish using the "paint & wipe" method on the outside of case leaving the leather untouched. The original hardware was not touched and is intact and in working order. There are keyholes but no keys were available. There was no mirror, so we attached one for you.

The inside has been refinished, leaving the original case fabric- but we decoupaged adding a romantic feel. We also embellished using the original vintage materials that came with these cases. This will be a delightful piece used for a gift or indulge yourself. The uses are unlimited: make-up case, jewelry case, portable ladies bar, or use as decoration. We go junkin' then we turn dreary into cheery and pass it on. Thank you for looking!
