Beautiful old diner mug, from Buffalo China, with the logo and slogan for the Jon Stemkoski Celebrant Singers, circa late 70s. The Celebrant Singers were officially founded in 1977 as a Christian missionary outreach group, headquartered in Visalia (California), and I am estimating that this mug must also have been from the late 1970s. The group is still going strong and is about to celebrate their 40th year anniversary!

The mug has the classic creamy white color, and is chunky, heavy, and very durable vitrified china. It's in near-mint condition, with gleaming surfaces and very few signs of use. There are a few skips in the slogan text on the back side, and also a few small manufacturing ridges or blips on the handle. No damage.

Measures 3 1/2" tall and 3 1/4" in diameter at the top opening.

A nice heavy piece of history!
