J-3910 Art Nouveau Amber Glass Gilt Brooch c.1900-1920
My original listing had this listed from the Edwardian Era c.1910-1920, but a customer thinks this it is more Art Nouvea, c.1900-1920 era. This rectangular brooch has a detailed, pierced filigree setting with rounded and scalloped ends. The center stone is faceted amber glass held in place with decorative prongs. The pin has a bit of wear in the center (which could probably polished out) and a slight bend. This does not cause any problems and is secure with the old C catch closure. The pin does extend beyond the edge of the brooch, so please be careful when handling. There are no visible repairs or breaks in the setting. The gilt plating is a gold wash over brass with a lovely patina.

Condition: Very Good
Size: 1-3/8 x 2 inches wide
