This is a hand blown footed dish that would have many uses or just hang on the wall as a decorative piece. To hang on the wall I can wrap a copper wire around the foot with a loop for you to hang on a standard picture hanger on the wall.
This hand blown glass dish is made by me in my glass studio. I gather 2100 degree Fahrenheit molten glass onto a blow pipe where I add the color and blow it into it's shape. I then have to break it off the pipe, turn it around and finish the top while it is still hot. If you have never seen the process, see if there is a local glass blower in your area, we love to share our passion. Each piece is annealed in a kiln where it slowly comes back down to room temperature. I can't see the final piece until the next day.
You will receive the piece pictured, it is one of a kind. The dish is 3.25 inches tall and 13 inches wide (at it's widest point).
