DESCRIPTION: This is a beautiful round bon bon bowl made in the United States of heavy silver plate by Wallace Silversmiths in the 1950s. Polished to a nice shine (I had to tone down the highlights in the second photo so you could see the bowl!), the bowl has a shallow slope to the center. The repousse rim is decorated with bas relief flowers and scrolled leaves, bordered on each side with lines of beads.

DIMENSIONS: 6 1/2 inches in diameter, 1 inch deep

CONDITION: This bowl is in excellent condition with only minor wear from usage and very little tarnish.

PROVENANCE: Obtained from a Mount Pleasant, SC estate auction

USE: This bowl was crafted to serve bon bons - or other candies. It can be used to serve nuts, condiments, or even small fruits like berries, as well. It would also be a lovely gift for a 25th wedding anniversary or for a bride-to-be.

FAQs

I do my best to package all orders with appropriate foam, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, etc. Unfortunately, there are rare occasions when the post office delivers a damaged item.

Should your item arrive damaged, please save the item and all packaging and convo me and attach pictures of the damaged item and the packaging. This will assist me in making the insurance claim for your refund. Insurance claims are done online, but your local post office may require inspecting the damaged item and the box it came in. I will notify you once the claim is complete.
Please note that I will ship only to domestic addresses that are confirmed with the USPS via Etsy. Packages cannot be shipped to unconfirmed addresses.
