This sweet bolero jacket was made by Carlye, a fashion house based in Missouri from the 1940s to 1960s, and known for its junior fashions. The jacket is a natural color linen embroidered on the front with a tan vine pattern and trimmed with a matching edging.

Fully lined, it has front and back darts for subtle shaping and below-elbow sleeves. Two hand-stitched labels read "Carlye" at the back neck (the dry cleaning tag in the photo has been removed) and "Crease-resisting MOYGASHEL reg./ All linen woven in Ireland" on the inside facing.

It fits like a misses size 4 or 6 but please use the measurements below:

Underarm to underarm (laid flat): 17 1/2"

Back neck to hem: 16 5/8"

Sleeve length (underarm to hem): 8 3/4"

Other than some slight wrinkles which I did not attempt to press, this bolero jacket is in EXCELLENT vintage condition with no tears, stains, obvious odors or slubbing (except the textures natural to linen).

All vintage items are sold AS IS so please convo with any questions.
