Bottom - Bright medium brown with streaks of pale blue, green, gold and hints of pink. The Three Hares yarn base is a soft fingering weight superwash merino spun into 8 strong, fine plies with an almost cottony appearance. It works up into soft, long wearing fabric with a subtle glow. Immersion dyed May 2010, perfect for socks. Machine washable.

100g/400yds; 100% merino wool
Recommended knitting needle: US#2/2.75mm

This skein is one of three dyed at the same time. It is the top hank of the three pictured and has not been reskeined. No two skeins are the same, despite similarities. Please note, there are *two* dye lots of this colorway this month. Skeins 1, 2, and 3 are from one dye lot and skeins 4 and 5 are from another. June's Phatfiber samples came from the second dye lot.

Please indicate when purchasing if you'd like your yarn wound into a ball.

For the June 2010 Phatfiber theme "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

"The eye of man hath not heard, the ear of man hath not
seen, man's hand is not able to taste, his tongue
to conceive, nor his heart to report, what my dream
was. I will get Peter Quince to write a ballad of
this dream: it shall be called Bottom's Dream,
because it hath no bottom...."
