Description

This trim was probably made in the late 1910's and into the 1920's or the Flapper era. I've owned and sold dresses from that period with trim similar to this shiny lace.

This silver mesh lace is embellished with a pink thread and one edge is trimmed with sequins, and only two appear to be missing.

A metallic thread is wrapped around a cotton base, and the two are woven into an ornate lace. However, I'm not sure what type of metal is in this trim.

The metallic lace is in good and useable condition. I didn't notice any corrosion when I measured it.

The trim is 1 1/8" by 3 yards.
