Crib Size Native American Star Quilt Approx 44" X 44"

100% Cotton Fabric

100% Cotton Low Loft Batting

The Native American star quilt encompasses the sacred symbol of the star and has been adopted by many Native American Tribes often times taking the place of a buffalo robe, woven rug blanket, and the modern day Pendleton blanket.

It is an honor to give and receive a star quilt for special or meaningful occasions such as a birth, marriage, graduation, ceremony or even funeral.

Star Quilts often are not "standard" sizes as they are usually square in shape to represent the 4 sacred directions and are meant to be wrapped around a person or displayed.

The Star also known as Morning Star and God’s Eye symbolize a new beginning, darkness turning to light (from ignorance to knowledge), and the constant protection of our creator.

The iconic Star Quilts have become a well known symbol among Native Americans everywhere.
