Last photo shows a sycamore board - (available in another listing) with a flax hand towel. We have several linen jacquard patterns available and the option of making a set of a hand towel with the cutting board is available as you make your purchase.
Micaiah is 14 and has been scrollsawing for about 3 years now. He is now offering a line of cutting boards, made from hardwoods havested and milled here in Tennessee. The boards are first planed (he actually just saved up enough to purchase a planer today!), and then he scrollsaws out the design (made my Mama, the babywearing mama of the other items in the shop) and then works to supersand/round the edges of the board. The hanging hole is drilled and the board is coated with food grade mineral oil. The knife and herbs in the picture don't come with the board, of course, but they do help to give an idea of the generous size (almost 9.5 x 14.5 inches, and almost an inch thick!)
