This Chinese jewelry features four Chinese calligraphy pendants representing the Four Gentlemen, Chinese art that dates back to the Song Dynasty beginning in 960. Each character represents a plant, and in turn a season: Plum Blossom - Winter; Orchid - Spring; Bamboo - Summer; Chrysanthemum - Fall. Together they represent the unfolding of the seasons. Each has a hand painted, antiqued pewter finish, and can also be made into earrings if you wish ($14.54).

+the pendants are 3/4" long and 1/2" wide. the bail openings are 1/4" in diameter. if you need a larger bail to accommodate your chain/cord, i am happy to make one for you at no extra cost

+the sealant is durable, but please treat kindly and do not get abuse or get wet!
