636 pages

Previous owner's name written in beautiful penmanship on blank page at front of book:
Geo. B. Jeffrey, Dec 25 1899

Condition:
- In totally readable condition.
- The cover/spine is loose, but intact.
- The binding is visible between the cover and the first end paper page.
- The bottom half of the first illustration that faces the title page is detached.
- The pages themselves are clean and free of markings and/or rips.
- There are a few pages with light (age?) stains/discoloration, but nothing that interferes with reading.
- A handful of pages have corners folded over.
- Page 631 is in the book, but at some point it was detached from the book. It contains a diagram with names of delegates which correspond with the photograph on the facing page. I believe it was intentionally ripped out for ease of identifying the people in the group photo. It is inserted right where it belongs (see last photo).
- The decorative end paper on the back cover has about a 2-1/2" tear in it.
- The hardcover itself has bumped corners, fraying, wear & tear around all cloth edges, and about a 1" slice at the bottom front spine and about a 1/2" slice at the top front and back spine.

This book will be shipped USPS Media Mail. You can upgrade to USPS Priority Mail at checkout if you'd prefer that method of shipment.

Returns and exchange details
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds or exchanges. We try to be as descriptive as possible and we try to take good, clear photos. As they say, a picture is worth 1,000 words. We ask that you enlarge all photos to really examine what you are purchasing and convo us if you have any questions before purchasing. Everything we sell is vintage, and most vintage items do bear some signs of age, years of use, etc. But it is precisely those flaws that give vintage items such charm and character!
