Description

This owl pot holder is approximately 7 inches in diameter, measurement from hanging ring to bottom is 9 inches. I use 100% cotton yarn, mostly Lily Sugar and Cream, because their cotton is USA grown and cotton will not melt at high temperatures. I am taking care of your hands, also the reason for the double thickness. Burnt fingers hurt!
I purchased this pattern fromwww.etsy.com/shop/Emmacrochetdesign4u, I just love her patterns. You will probably notice I have used her basic ideas on quite a few items. This owl starts with a red rose center, with pine green leaves, white for the body, and chocolate ombre for the edge, head and backing. I added a decorative edging in red. The beak color is black this time, then two eyes are added along with a plastic ring for hanging. This is a double thickness pot holder; because that’s the way I make them. I have added a couple of variations – Blue/Purple and Yellow, order your favorite, or all of them.
Machine washable, tumble dry low, or lay flat to dry.
Ombre is a French term meaning shaded and usually refers to color graduations from light to dark.
