This is for a Custom order- the current wait is about 4 weeks, but please convo me for an estimate of the time frame, as I work on a few custom orders at a time :)

This is the more expensive version of the 'Water Dress' due to the cost of the silk georgette or silk chiffon (whichever you choose !).

For the cheaper versions of this dress please click here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/45097207/ethereal-asymmetrical-ruffles-winged

or see this listing :

This silk fabric feels divine on the skin, and there are plenty of exciting colour combinations to choose from. Please feel free to request colour swatches for an additional $3.50, or I am also happy to send pictures of other silk colours available.

NOTE: This price is for a custom dress in US size 2-6 (Australian size 6-10). Larger sizes will cost more, due to the need for extra fabric. Please contact me for a quote :)

Please check all pictures to see if you are happy with my sewing style :)

Your dress will vary slightly because it is handmade, but I will try to make it as similar to the picture as possible.

This dress is a gentle A line shape and falls just above the knees. Each ruffle is made of 4 or 5 layers of chiffon sewn on top of one another and then hand sewn onto the dress. There is up to 2 hours of hand sewing involved in this piece.

There are 2 layers of exquisitely light beige silk chiffon. I have roughly edged most of the garment with a 'rolled' hem, and the shade of the thread is designed to contrast slightly with the colour of the fabric.

The sides of the garment pull and pucker slightly- so that the garment is not a perfect sewing "masterpiece", but rather a beautiful whimsical piece of wearable art. (Please read shop policies for further info on my sewing philosophy).

Thanks for looking :)
