■■ Description ■■
There are many different times frames for Egyptian Revival, however Egyptian designs in jewelry seem to have boomed after 1922 when King Tutankhamen's Tomb was found. The connection to legendary history, as well as foreign and mysterious symbols, was very desired by the western world. Not to mention how lovely the opulence of such an ancient culture played out in the metals, designs, and stones used in jewelry of that time. Large fashion firms and designers like Napier started putting out elaborate exotic pieces. Quickly following their lead were several of the Jewelry industry major players like Lisner as well as Whiting & Davis. Certain events in history have inspired a return of the Egyptian Revival exotic jewelry. For example, even though the Tomb of Antony and Cleopatra has yet to be found, in the 1960’s when the Cleopatra movie was put out, many women wanted to be iced with jewelry as elaborate as hers. But I think most women would enjoy being draped in gold and jewels, for at least a little while. ;)
• This particular piece looks to be from the revival that took place after 1922. Nine solid metal panels appear to have been stamped or pressed. Some panels have then been painted with rich enamel paints. We have searched this entire piece back and forth, but have not found a signature. The measurements are: length is just short of 7 inches long by over ½ an inch wide, each of the 9 panels measures 31.6mm by 16.9mm. This bracelet is a fantastic artistic play of the Egyptian culture that was so desired during that period. No matter when the revival, let’s just enjoy the idea of being draped in the exotic jewelry!

*Side Note * Please keep in mind that with this being a chunky style panel link, it will wear small. So if a 7 inch bracelet is usually tight on you, then this is going to be too small.

FAQs

►Most important◄ Double check your profile address is correct! The software limits us on your street address to only 35 characters.
►Remember all pieces are vintage, so the condition grade, is a Vintage Grade. They could and probably will show age / wear; minor scratches, yellowing, darkening, rhinestone cloudiness, rounded corner / edges, minor chipping, pealing / flaking of metal, replaced earring backs or repairs. We try to list anything minor that will detract from the intended design while being worn, and of course anything major. We strive to take photos of the bad. Some of the photos are very close up, potentially giving an almost exaggerated look. Also, the slightest of patina can potentially show up as bright green in photos.
• If a multi item order forces you to an unwanted shipping upgrade, add a note to your order - e.g. "First Class Shipping Please". If you do not, we will NOT hold up the order to check. It will be processed as fast as we can and shipped priority with no refund.
• This sometimes happens depending on weight or number of pieces because we have to include weight of the padded envelope and packaging during setup of each piece. On multi item orders, this can add up, pushing you into the next weight class.
• For all multi item orders not marked priority =
when we print your shipping label, we adjust the weight to the correct amount, determine most cost effective option and refund any amount that was overcharged.
