For sale here is a leather pouch made by me at my workshop in Yorkshire.

This example is made from a medium brown calfskin with dark brown cowhide tabs. It is approximately 13cm tall and 12cm wide at the base giving a volume of ~0.5L.

The pouch is saddle stitched by hand with strong tiger thread and then turned inside out so all the seams are hidden on the inside.

This traditional style of pouch has been around for thousands of years and has a multitude of uses! Traditionally used as a coin or medicine pouch today these could be used for any of the following:

- a small possibles pouch
- bushcraft use e.g. for a fire lighting kit or flint and steel
- a pouch for camp food such as rice or coffee (if you add a plastic food bag as a liner)
- ammunition
- LARP or other costumes
- keepsakes
- marbles or other toys for children

... and anything else you can think of!

The bag closes with a length of natural leather cord and a cord lock which makes it easy to open and close and doesn't require tying any knots or bows. You could easily change the cord for paracord if you wanted to.
