Gardenia grandiflora originated in warm humid tropical regions. Prized for its intoxicating scent Gardenia has a reputation for being the most powerful love attracting scent.
Useful in aromatherapy to scent candles, soap making, massage and bath oils. Gardenia plants apart from being known for their fragrance are believed to infuse healing and peaceful thoughts in troubled minds. Aroma therapists usually use a blend of more than two oils with Gardenia to retain the rich, heady, sweet floral aroma of Gardenia grandaflora
The Differences:
Gardenia Jasminoids is a soft light gardenia scent - A pure and natural oil with added constituents by distiller.
*Gardenia grandiflora is a stronger gardenia with added constituents by distiller.
Please note this is NOT a Gardenia Absolute Oil.
Also do not confuse this oil with a "Fragrance oil" which is a synthetic oil and can be purchased under our Fragrance Oil Listings. The synthetic Fragrance Oil is a perfumery type scent more floral note whereas the Essential Oil is a natural plant based scent which is not as strong as the synthetic man made scent and has more herbal earthy green note with the natural floral scent.

I don't believe this to be a real gardenia essential oil. It is a fragrance oil. It also a very very bad fragrance oil. Extremely disappointed with purchase. To be fair the product description did say it had added constituents and I am assuming it must be synthetic properties that were added. However, still it just seems over the top synthetic to me. Made me feel light headed and off when I smelled it.

This is a natural blend oil which are blends of oils from various natural sources to achieve an economical product that resembles the aroma of a pure essential oil. Natural Blends are all natural, and do not contain any synthetics, artificial flavors, or aromatic compounds.
