Description

1920s hand-carved abalone shell and silver (either 925 or 900) link bracelet. There are 7 links, each with a different image carved into the shell. They depict the 7 days of the week, with Roman Gods & Goddesses being carried by chariot. Each image is heavily carved with ornate details, and the shell is set in silver with a flat, scalloped frame and an open-back. Surrounding each piece of shell is a tiny gold rope. They are each strung together with two double jump rings, and it closes with a tiny silver safety chain and a very sturdy slide clasp.


Condition: Excellent, with some patina throughout
Measurements: 7 1/8" inside circumference; 1 1/2" safety chain length; 1/2" wide
