“Reigning Silver” features a single tarpon launching out of the water at night. Some of the best tarpon fishing in the world is in Boca Grande Pass at night! Kelly has fished for tarpon on her dad's traditional tarpon boat since the 1980s.

While this appears to be a monochromatic painting, it is actually layered blues, grays, and yellows. Tarpon are often called “silver kings” for their large, mirror-like scales that reflect the light as they move their sometimes 7 foot long, 160 pound bodies. A truly amazing fish to behold.
