I'm fascinated from the way that a flat piece of paper can be folded, then hold.
This vessel is my attempt to represent it with the porcelain.

The blue bird wanted to say that everything you can do I can do better (it is a bit cocky). Actually what it means is that it would look great as a vase, a vessel for chopsticks or spaghetti, for your dressing table or just as a decorative item.

Hand built from a single porcelain slab. I used an Inlay technique to create the blue bird.

It stands approximately 7 1/8"(18cm) tall,
3 3/8"- 4 1/2"(8.5-11cm) in the long base and 3 1/8"-3 1/2" (8-9cm) in the shorter base. Glazed from the inside with a transparent glaze and unglazed from the outside.

Every vessel is unique and has its own free spirit. Each has its special curves and twists
