This Seal-point Siamese cat design is made from 35 segments of ash, cherry, maple (stained blue), wenge, & Peruvian walnut. This is an in-stock item and you will receive the exact item shown in the photos. Dimensions are approximately 13.5" by 11.5". A saw-tooth hanger is attached to the back to easily hang on the wall.

The backside is flat to allow the item to rest nicely against the wall. This item is for indoor use only. To preserve the natural colors of the wood for as long as possible, avoid displaying in direct sunlight. If you want minor design changes, different types of wood used, orientation flipped, or any number of other alterations, just message us with your request for a new custom order.

Intarsia is a mosaic art form that uses small segments of wood to make an image. We use varying depths and carving techniques to create a 3-D illusion. Each segment is carefully hand-cut on a scroll saw then individually shaped. After a quality check, the segments are glued together, attached to a backing board for added strength, and a hanger is added to the back. No stains or dyes are used in the creation process unless otherwise noted. The work is finished with several coats of clear lacquer.
