She's ALIVE!!!

Here is my tribute to the Bride of Frankenstein, a one of a kind, customized Blythe art doll by me, Sandra Coe for Motor City Dolly. She is my 30th custom Blythe.

Frankie's base doll is a factory neo Blythe on a curvy, poseable body, and like all neo Blythes, she has eyes that change when her cord is pulled. She is 11 1/2 inches tall.

I have done the following work on her:

Face and back plate have been sand matted.

Lips, eyes, nose and philtrum have been carved.

Gaze has been lifted and eyes boggled.

Her body and faceplates have been spray painted with several tones of green, then sealed with MSC UV Cut.

She has fully rooted Teeswater fiber hair on a new scalp, approximately 600 individual plugs painstakenly sewn in by hand. The scalp stretched while rooting and thus is not perfectly flush with the back plate, but this is only noticeable upon close inspection. Her hair can easily be styled to stand straight up, Bride-style, with the help of a few bobby pins, or given a wild electric natural look.

She has all new makeup applied with high quality pastels and acrylics and sealed with multiple coats of Mr Super Clear Flat UV Cut.

She has sleep eyes with custom pull charms, glittery painted eye lids, and new lush lashes.

Her eye mechanism works smoothly.

She has three new pairs of hand painted eye chips; one pair purple, one pair black sparkle, one pair electric green glitter, and one pair decoupaged chips with Frankenstein's image.

Itsy bitsy outfit designed and sewn by me.

Frankie has a custom cemetery display stand adorned with florists' moss and five tiny headstones. I have signed and dated the bottom of the stand.
