This is a hand made skinning knife,7 inches overall with a 3 1/2" edge .
The wood is of an unknown species, it is very hard and highly figured( I rescued it from the firewood pile).
The handle has a hook on the end and a thumb brace for positive retention even when wet.
The blade has been acid etched and the edge polished.
The mosaic handle pins were made by me and are filled with epoxy.
The sheath is saddle stitched and riveted with copper rivets.
