Description

A luxurious Goat Milk Soap scented in a sweet yet spicy fragrance. A bit of sweetness from the Mandarin Leaf, Agave Nectar and African Lotus compliment with cardamom, Nutmeg and Black Peppercorn then rounded out with hints of Sandalwood, Patchouli and Tonka Bean - all blended together in a single fragrance. Great masculine scent that also appeals to women.

The majority of these bars have no added color as they naturally cure to a medium brown. Added decorative elements of the ivory and green in a wonky staircase pattern with matching curl on the top.

Created from a blend of skin loving vegetable, nut and fruit based oils and butters with added goat milk and kaolin clay to gently cleanse without drying the skin.

Each bar is unique and no two bars will be identical. These bars are hand cut and trimmed so multiple bars are displayed to show variations within the batch.

Net Weight each approximately bar 5.5 - 5.9 ounces.
Soap bars are sold individually.
Listing is for one (1) bar.
Bars measure approximately 3" x 3 1/2" x 1"

Soap FAQ's
What is handcrafted, cold process soap?
Handcrafted cold process soap is soap in its purist and true form. True soap is created from the chemical reaction that occurs when combining a lye (sodium hydroxide) with oils (vegetable or animal) and water. This chemical reaction is called "saponification" and transforms these base ingredients into soap.

What is the difference between cold process and glycerin soap?
Glycerin is a byproduct of the "saponification" or soap making process and therefore exists in every bar of handcrafted soap. Soap labeled as glycerin soap is created from a premade base that has already gone through the saponification process. These glycerin soap bases allow soapmakers to create soaps in many shapes and styles allowing for a lot of creativity in the finished product. Both cold process and glycerin soaps contain glycerin which is a humectant that attracts and retains moisture on your skin.

Why buy handcrafted soap?
Commercial manufacturers remove the nourishing glycerin by product from soap to add to other products. This is why so many commercial soap products strip your skin of its natural oils and leave it dry. Handcrafted soaps also contains no harsh chemical detergents or lathering agents. Only products created through the saponification process of combining lye, water and oils can be labeled and sold as "Soap". It is always a good idea to read product labels and ingredient lists.

Why did the bar I receive look different from the product picture?
Each bar is unique and many are cut by hand. The images show a representation of what the bars in the finished batch look like, but there may be some variations as no two bars are identical.

Is your soap organic?
Some of the base oils used are organic but not all of them, therefore the finished product cannot be labeled as organic.

How long will my soap last?
Cold process bars will last longer than glycerin bars. All bars will last longer if allowed to dry out between uses. Do not let your soap sit in water but allow it to drain in an appropriate soap dish.

How long will the scent last?
This can and will vary from soap to soap. Some scents have strong staying power and others may fade over time. The scent of the soap has no relation to the nourishing properties of the bar but is an added benefit to it.

Do you use sustainable palm oil?
Yes, my palm oil is organic, sustainable palm oil.

Do you use animal products in your soap or other products?
Most soaps use all vegetable, fruit and nut based oils and butters. The exception would be any goat's milk soap or soap with added silk. Lip balms and body balms are created with beeswax.
