Description

This miniature mandolin pin is a micro mosaic/millefiori design; a style originating in Italy. Also known as "pietra dura" (and considered a decorative art form) - term for the inlay technique of using cut and fitted, highly polished colored stones to create images."

This piece is beautiful and shows minimal signs of light wear. It is missing few tiles at the top; otherwise it's in very good condition, waiting to be worn! Add this beautiful micro mosaic mandolin pin to your vintage collection! Italy stamp on back. Secure Clasp Closure.
