A 1948 design from Simplicity, this lovely two-piece dress has a very "New Look" silhouette. The top is princess seamed, and flared at the lower edge. It's paired with a full (153-1/2" for this size!), flared bias-cut skirt. Choose a Peter Pan collar or wide scoop neckline on the button-front top, and short or 3/4-length sleeves.

Sweet, pretty, and with all that width in the hem of the bias skirt, it would be just fabulous for dancing!

Bust 30"
Waist 25"
Hip 33"

This pattern is cut and complete. The instruction sheet has a crease, and the skirt pieces have been shortened at the hemline, but the extensions are present. The skirt back has a 1" edge tear. The envelope has light stains and edge wear, the flap has been torn off, and there's a partial split on the lower right near the flap opening.
