Description

From the original oil painting by George S. Petrella

Print # x/250. The giclée prints in this limited edition are printed on 100% cotton rag, acid free Somerset Velvet paper. I photographed the progress I made while painting this portrait. You can check it out at:

http://www.georgepetrella.com/ArtWork/Work_In_Progress/Pages/Apache_Scout_in_Progress.html

Image Size: 14 3/4” * 20”
Paper Size: 19 15/16” * 24”

The print is signed, numbered, embossed with my stamp, and comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.

The subject, Nar-ah-ke-ge-etsu was photographed between 1904 and 1909 by Carl (Karl) Moon in Arizona. An Apache, he was a longtime scout for Kit Carson.

This is the 4th Native American portrait I've finished. I'm currently working on "Yellow Shirt."
