The Fairfield Garden Products Harvester Garden basket is a quality hand made product. It is made primarily from cedar and it is designed to be super light weight. Cedar has incredible capabilities to be light weight, strong, and resistant to both water and garden soil. Linseed oil is used to bring out the beautiful grains of the cedar and further assist the wood in resisting water. The basket body is made of Poly-coated (Black) hardware cloth. This allows you to rinse your harvest right in the basket. All the hardware is either stainless steel or coated steel, designed to resist rusting. The unique fold down handle makes loading, unloading and washing of your harvest, an easy task. This basket is perfect for harvesting in the garden, foraging in the woods, and even seashell hunting. The Large Harvester Garden Basket weighs only 2-1/4 lbs and overall measures just 19.5 x 10.5 x 7 (Handle down). The actual basket volume is 16 x 10 x 4.5 (.42 cubic ft). This is a great choice for slightly larger harvests.
