Description

These hand painted ceramic bowls and plates are inspired by our satellite moon with glowing light blue and visible craters. The orange sun bowls are painted to look like the National Geographic photos July 2004 issue of detailed white hot loops and energetic swirls of energy photographed that year. The bowls are standard size perfectly round, poured in a mold; I got a bunch of these bowls at a super discount, so I pass on the savings to my customers. Each plate is rolled out by hand like a pie crust with "organic" edges. All Mayco glazes and clay is food safe and kiln fired for a sturdy, impermeable finish. Top quality glazes are food, dishwasher, and microwave safe. The reverse side has a similar background, painted with as much realism as possible. Photo #9 shows the golden moon with clouds. The 6th photo is a golden moon on a dark blue background filled with stars. Choose from full moon or 1/4 moon. The 2nd photo shows the popular solar eclipse of orange sun rays peeking from behind a black moon on a black background.

Dimensions: 9-1/2" diameter x 1 "high for the full moon plates.

8-1/2" diameter x 2" high for the moon or sun bowls.

Custom orders are always welcome so you can make any set you wish.

I always ship 2 day priority for the lowest shipping price possible, and I'm happy to pack it up right away if you need it quickly!

Now available: Perfectly round 8" salad plates and 10" dinner plates can be painted with any of these options. Simply order the custom request.
