Description

50+ The Dwarf Evening Primrose plant is packed with vivid saucer-shaped, golden-yellow flowers that are 4 inches across. It loves full sun and prefers well-drained soil. Dwarf Evening Primrose is also known as Missouri Primrose or Ozark Sundrops. The Missouri Primrose plant is a long-lived, drought-tolerant perennial that makes a nice ground cover around taller perennials and shrubs. It is hardy and looks great spilling over a retaining wall or spreading through a large rock garden. Sow Evening Primrose seeds outdoors in early spring, prepare weed-free soil and loosen the top 1 - 2 inches. Spread the flower seeds and rake them into the soil and pressing them in to make good contact with the soil. Keep Missouri Primrose seeds moist until germination occurs. When Primrose seedlings emerge, thin to strongest plants every 12 - 16 inches. Can also sow Oenothera Missouriensis seeds indoors about 8 weeks before setting out after last frost. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous blooming. This beauty will bloom from early to late summer. Instructions included. Combined shipping discount...all additional items ship free.
