This listing is for an adorable USAF Christmas Ornament. Each ornament is bulb shaped with a rhinestone Air Force heart, bright blue ribbon, and a simple looped hanger. The rhinestone heart is hung from the ornament with a strong stainless steel jump ring to assure durability.

Each hanger is handmade and designed for movement so it's easier to hang on the tree.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
Unworn, non-personalized items can be refunded as long as they are returned in the same condition as when they were received within 14 days of receipt. As this was not an error on my part, you will be responsible for the return shipping. Repackaging the item in its original packaging will reduce the chances of it getting damaged in transit. It is highly recommended that you purchase tracking and insurance when shipping the item back to me as I cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items. I will not issue a refund until the item is returned to me.

Once received I will issue a full refund minus the original shipping costs. If you need my return shipping address I will be happy to provide it for you. Returning at your earliest convenience is highly recommended as Etsy has a time limit on issuing refunds.

Refunds are NOT eligible on personalized items.

I do accept the EU directive on my items shipping within the EU community. This means you have 14 days from the receipt of the time to request a refund. Refunds will be processed once I know the item has been returned to me. This DOES NOT apply to custom made items.

I will provide you with a form in which to return the item so please send me a message and I will be happy to help you with it.

Shipping policies

I ship orders within 2-3 weeks after payment has cleared. Unless otherwise specified all orders will ship on or before the ship by date. Shipping is USPS first class mail unless you have purchased priority mail/express shipping. Paying for priority mail/express shipping only affects the TIME IN TRANSIT and does not change the production time. If you need the item immediately you will be asked to pay a $15 rush fee.

Please keep in mind that I can only guarantee the “ship by” date. Once an item is in the mail I no longer have control over it. First class mail can take between 5-7 business days if not longer. Priority mail can take 2-3 business days but it is not always a guarantee.

MAKE SURE YOUR ADDRESS IS CORRECT WHEN CHECKING OUT. The address listed at checkout is the one I will ship to. If you need the address changed after the order has gone through I will have to cancel and you must reorder. I cannot change the address after the fact and I will not reship unless it was somehow my error. If it is returned to me for any reason you will have to pay to have it shipped again.

Please know that during the holiday season shipping times may be delayed for various reasons. Also, packages that are stuck in sorting facilities or appear not to be moving at NOT LOST. “The tracking information says delivered but I didn’t receive it”

Occasionally post offices will mark something delivered a day or two before it is actually delivered. I have no idea why they do this other than to frustrate everyone involved. Please check with your mail carrier to see if they remember delivering the package. Also, please check with other members of your household and make sure they didn’t get the package. Please also check with your neighbors to make sure it didn’t accidentally get delivered to the wrong address. It is also a good idea to check around your house and make sure your mailman didn’t decide to try and hide your package. Check areas such as back or side doors, porch, etc. If you live in a complex, check with the apartment manager, security desk, doorman, condo sales office, etc. It is also a very good idea to check with your local post office to see if it is being held there. Sometimes the package can end up in the Lost Mail bin. 99% of the time, your package will turn up in one of these places.

If this does not yield any results please contact me and we can file a stolen package report. Please keep in mind international packages are not truly lost until 45 days after it is mailed and we cannot file a report until then. All other lost packages must be reported to the USPS within 3 business days of delivery confirmation showing “delivered”. You have to contact me within that time frame for me to file a claim or there is absolutely nothing I can do.

Most packages have a time period in which I can file a claim. For USPS priority mail it is 15 days. I will send a replacement package after I have filed a postal claim. Please contact me if you feel your package is lost and I will help you the best I can.

“VAT fees”

Often times international orders will be held for VAT fees (value-added tax). The UK specifically has a very low threshold for imported items. Purchases over $23 (£15) are subject to these fees. There is also a £8 handling fee payable to Royal Mail. I have absolutely no control over these fees and it is the sole responsibility of the buyer to pay for these.

“I placed an order for a custom charm on my bracelet can I change what I wanted it to say?”

All personalized charms are created especially for you by The Sad Basset here on Etsy. I submit orders once a week (usually on Saturday or Sunday). If you want changes made please contact me to make sure I have not already submitted the order for the custom charm. If I have not I will gladly change it for you. If I have already submitted the order you will have to pay for a new custom charm to be made and it could potentially push back your ship by date.

These charms are HAND STAMPED and NOT engraved. What’s the difference? Most engraved jewelry today is done by machine, whether a giant laser or an electronic pen. Engraving removes the surface layer of the metal. Hand stamping is done one character/symbol at a time using a metal rod. The rod is hammered into the metal creating an impression. The impression displaces the metal which can result in markings on the reverse side.

“My bracelet broke and I haven’t even had it a week.”

If your item breaks or comes broken (the post office is not always gentle) please send me a message on Etsy along with a picture of the damage. If it is within the first week of receipt I will only ask that you send it back for me to fix. I will cover the repair and return of the item. Any damage happening after that time due to normal wear and tear or because you were wrestling alligators will require a repair/alteration fee of $10. You will still be responsible with sending the item back to me and I will take care of the rest.

Any changes made to the item by YOU or someone you know VOIDS ALL refunds and return policies. This is in accordance to Etsy, Paypal, and all major credit card companies and is not my personal rule.

“Bracelet Sizing”

When selecting a size at checkout please keep in mind that the size you select is the size it will be. I do not offer refunds for items that are too large or too small. I will work with you to get this remedied and it will only cost you the price of returning the item to me to fix. If the item was a gift the same rule applies, I just ask that you message me prior to returning the item and ship it back in a timely manner.

“This item is a gift”

I provide each and every order with a packing slip. This slip contains item pricing details as well as the “notes to seller” comments. If this item is a gift please let me know and I will leave out the packing slip. I will also gift wrap the item FREE OF CHARGE.
