My party crackers are made to order. Order how many you need.

~ Each cracker will measure approximately 12 inches/ 35 cm in length. They are a little over 2 inches/ 5 cm wide.
~ They each have a cracker snap that will make a loud noise when they are pulled open. *Use caution around pets and infants.
~ They each come fully assembled with one end left open for you to put your own trinkets & candy in. Curling ribbon is included for you to tie that end closed.
~ Each cracker comes with the standard paper rosette embellishment made out of paper that matches the cracker design.
- For a little extra, choose an embellishment of a personalized monogram (Be sure to tell what what letter and quantity of each in the comment section), or a paper bow, or perhaps gold or silver sequin stars. *Please specify if you want a different embellishment other than the standard paper rosette. Thank you.

Instructions and the history of the Christmas Cracker:
The tradition of pulling open a Christmas cracker at the dinner table or a party is popular in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and other countries in the Commonwealth. You can enjoy this tradition also by using them as a wonderful gift favor for your celebration. Each guest at your function should get their own party cracker and gets to keep the contents of inside. They are opened by 2 people pulling on either end until it tears open, in the similar manner of pulling a wishbone. A loud snap noise will sound when the cracker has been torn open and its’ contents will spill out.

Typically, content consists of a paper tissue hat in the shape of a crown, a small toy or trinket, a joke, motto, or riddle. The paper hats, with the appearance of crowns, are usually worn when eating Christmas dinner. The tradition of wearing festive hats is believed to date back to Roman times.

Tom Smith, a bon-bon sweet maker, invented the Christmas crackers in London in 1847. It was a way to attract customers to buy his sweets by using enticing wrappers that included messages and also the “crackle” noise.

*My crackers do not include any contents. You get to fill your own.

Suggestions for contents:
Seasonal candy/ sweets
Chewing gum
Gift card
Miniature manicure set/ comb
Hair accessories
Miniature bottles of nail polish
Perfume sample tubes
Lottery tickets
Jokes (If you’re doing them yourself, this is a good time to make your own personalized ones)

*I don’t recommend confetti if you’re using them whilst at a dinner table.
