Modern size estimate is based on the measurements below, which were taken with the garment flat and should be doubled as necessary. Please measure a garment of a similar nature to get the best fit equivalent.
Shoulder seam to seam: 16 inches
Empire waist: 14.5 inches
Hips: 19 inches - measured of the underskirt; overlay is looser
Sweep: 35.5 inches
Bodice length: 13 inches
Skirt length: 44 inches
Dress length: 57 inches
Sleeve length: 21.5 inches with an additional 1 inch of ruffle trim
Condition notes: Good vintage condition with some flaws. There is minor staining on the ruffle at the bust that may fade with multiple treatments. There is minor spotting on the bodice and sleeve, but it does not photograph exceptionally well and is not incredibly apparent without close inspection. The front of the underskirt is stained but the overlay hides this well. Priced accordingly.
