Instead of a bulky car seat weighing down your arm or struggling to maneuver a stroller through clothes racks, simply snuggle your little one (or toddler) in one of these baby wraps. 'Never tried one before? They come with an instructional DVD to get you started. Although wraps have a longer learning curve than some slings, I was pleasantly suprised to find that they aren't that difficult (once you get past the idea of that LONG piece of cloth =)!) Wraps are EXCELLENT at distributing baby/toddler's weight! AND they are not size-sensitive, so you can give them as a gift without fear!

Fabric Content: 100% cotton
Length: @5.25 yards
Width: @25 inches
Color: Raspberry with fun pinwheel cotton panel. Wrap is edged in a rolled hem in light gray thread that coordinates beautifully with the background tones of the cotton.

Rib knit is the type knit that has the lines down it. It has stretch down (like where baby's bottom will stick out), but very little stretch in the lengthwise, making it ideal for a carrier. To get an idea of what this fabric feels like, think of a comfy lightweight T-shirt or PJ bottoms.

Use our label as the mark for the beginning for your wrapping. These wraps are about 16.5 feet long, a versatile length, allowing it to be used for just about any hold. If the wrap is not long enough for your frame to bring around to the front, simply tie in back.

Just machine wash cold; tumble dry low.

We will include with your purchase a babywearing DVD that includes a section on using your baby wraps. This helps you to confidently and safely use the wrap as a new babywearere OR give the wrap as a baby shower gift, knowing that you provided the explanation of how to use the wrap, too!!

The DVD will walk you through the steps of a front carry, facing out and facing in, hip carry, and back carry for a toddler (back carries are considered advanced by this mama, especially so with babies!!) The instructional DVD will be included with your purchase, making it ideal for personal use or gift-giving.

ABOUT LI'L PEEPER KEEPER CARRIERS: Great care has been taken to make sure that these carriers are sewn with quality and safety in mind. Pouches are sewn with a reinforced seam, known as a French seam, to shape the carrier. Ring sling fabrics are chosen with care as to style and strength, and each sling is carefully reinforced at the rings.

Babywearing is both a joy and a responsibility. Although Babywearing is simple, it will take practice and precations, just like anything else. Don’t expect you or your baby to “sling like a pro” the very first time. Keep at it – it’s worth the effort!

Some precautions to take while wearing your baby:
1. Always check the carrier first for signs of wear or any rips. Don’t use if damaged.
2. Practice holds with a stuffed animal before trying them on your baby.
3. Use common sense while wearing – i.e. do not bend from waist. Don’t use around the water, while cooking, showering, or other potentially hazardous activities.
4. Always make sure your baby has sufficient airflow.
5. Remove baby from sling before placing in bed.
6. While making adjustments, always make sure the baby’s weight is supported.
7. If a child is fighting against going into the sling, wait until he is calm and try again.
8. If a child is fussing after being placed in the sling, talk to him, pat back, move around, just as you would normally do to soothe a child.
9. Follow safety guidelines: you use at your own risk, accepting the responsibility for the safety of your child.
