This is a Discharge Print, screenprinted with an agent
that removes color in the shirt. This design, of common hand tools like scissors and pliers,
got me started on doing discharge printing. It is called "Food Chain" because it echoes fish
feeding in size hierarchy; and also the concept of "emergence," which is how large schools of fish and flocks of birds, for example, move as one unit.

This image is wash-stable and is not an ink on top of the fabric, it is part of the fabric; and is repeat-printed in an all-around pattern on the shirt, front and back. Pattern may vary slightly from shirt to shirt, and also from small to larger shirts (Extra large shirts require a couple prints more on them than do small shirts)
Discharge printing involves extra steps to process it, but the effect is well worth it!
Available in a Dark Blue shade of shirt.
The discharge image is a very pale bluish-white, looking similar to a cyanotype print and varies slightly from print to print and shirt to shirt.
This is a Short sleeve Unisex T-shirt. I print on Unisex Sizes S,M,L,XL.
These are the Size Choices available currently ONLY:

For best results, wash in cool or lukewarm water, gentle cycle, no bleach.
Can be put in a medium dryer.
