The custom Armchair you design will be completely built and assembled in the traditional carpenter way, with tenons and mortises, dowels and carpenter glue. We don’t use any type of metal connector like our competitors do, the chairs would arrive loose or get loose overtime. You will receive your handcrafted Armchair the door of your house ready to enjoy.

The woods we offer are: walnut, mahogany, cherry, hard maple and white oak
The finishes are: distressed, lacquer and oil (Rubio Monocoat)
The lacquer finish is the traditional furniture finish. It is very durable and resistant. It consists of sanding down the wood and applying two coats of industrial sealer and two coats of satin lacquer. I use Gemini Vinyl Sealer and lacquer.
Distressed consists of wearing down the wood & marking it in ways to make it look old, we also apply wax for protection
A third option is oil finish, I use Rubio Monocoat. It has the same performance as the lacquer. It makes a beautiful flat finish and enhances the grain making them darker.

EMI Lounge Chair is a simple, modern and elegant piece that stands out in any environment.
She enhances the beauty of leather with wood.
My idea was to introduce the wood in the same planes of the leather, and thus manage to cut the monotony of a solid leather color with wood grains and give the appearance of being a single piece.
Regarding height of the seat, we offer 2 options, 14” and 17” to the top of the cushion.

Like everyone else, seemingly, I had a great experience with Martin. He is, of course, a craftsman and everything was as described, if not better. The furniture itself--in my case, a lounge chair + ottoman, two stools, a bench, and a dining table--seems to speak for itself. Regardless, the color/wood options were perfect and the furniture is, while of course well-made, sleek, light, and easy to move--excellent. Further, the packaging, given the task, was largely sustainable and light, mostly wood and cardboard. Martin himself is helpful and responsive, completely reliable; thoroughly recommend.

These chairs are a work of art! They were very well packaged and the chairs arrived in great shape! We marvel at the detail of the craftsmanship, the beautiful line of the chairs, the gorgeous stitching. We are honored to have them in our home. I asked for help with the color choices and was glad I did because Martin had great ideas! Thank you for everything- we will enjoy these every day!
