This is a vintage biscuit, or cookie tin made in a picnic basket or lunch box design. It was made in the 1920's to 1930s by the Gray Dunn Biscuit Manufacturers of Scotland. The decoration is a simulated cross-stitch pattern, which gives it a country look. the tin measures 7 inches wide by 5 inches deep by 4 1/4 inches high, and has a hinged top and riveted, swivel carrying handles. There are scratches, rubs, and a slight dent in the top, showing it was loved and used. And now it needs a new home.
