EASIER TO MAKE THAN THEY LOOK
-----------------------------------------------------
Hello cat lover! This listing is a set of 2 digital templates you can download, print, cut, and put together using scissors (or craft knife) and white glue.
After several hours... Tadaaaaaaaaa! You get a cute pair of cats you will be so proud of!
These two files are bundled up to make you save 25% on the regular price in the event that you purchased the two cats separately.
Here is Gus, the standing cat: https://www.etsy.com/listing/478105146
Here is Genevieve, the one climbing down the wall: https://www.etsy.com/listing/477374714
************************************
Gus and Gevenieve are siblings that used to squabble all the time over their mother's attention. Now look at them, they are inseparable. Seems like squabbles make bonds stronger.
************************************
TECHNICALITIES
Total Height: 82cm/32in
Total Width: 10cm/4in
Total Depth: 38cm/15in
Total number of parts: 37 + 54 = 91 parts.
Bicolored models as usual, so each file is divided into 2 to make it easier for you to print: for each cat, one file for the body, and one file for eyes and ears.
************************************
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
3/5 (due to tiny parts)
The templates are pretty intuitive but if you have never made a paper sculpture before, each step of the illustrated instructions will suggest you where to start gluing the next part.
Plus the enclosed tips and tricks will help you make flawless sculptures easily.
************************************
ESTIMATED TIME
Allow one afternoon for the half cat to complete.
The standing cat may take up to a day, depending on your glue, number of breaks you need and how much of a perfectionist you are.
************************************
ABOUT GUS, THE STANDING CAT
Gus has a hole in his right front paw so you can pin it to the wall.
He won't collapse if you use a 180-200 gsm paper (65 lb COVER).
Caution: Much thicker paper will make the tiny parts much difficult to fold.
This file has been updated to make it easier to assemble.
************************************
ABOUT GENEVIEVE, THE CAT CLIMBING DOWN
Hang it on the wall like a picture frame thanks to the triangular hole at the back.
160 gsm paper (65 lbs) is enough, but you can chose a heavier card stock.

By purchasing and downloading this template, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions of use:
- - - Due to the digital nature of the item, I can offer refund only when none of the files have been downloaded. If you encounter any issue, please reach out and I will help you sort things through.
- - - The only file format I provide is (zipped) PDF. I don't provide PDO, SVG or DXF files as I believe cutting by hand is part of the relaxing process. Moreover, cutting by hand takes as much time, if not less, as cutting with a machine.

Delivery & returns
Those sculptures may look impressive, but they are designed with *motivated* beginners in mind and have been tested by true beginners. The process of assembly has been made intuitive to relax your brain so that you won't have to figure out what step you should be taking next.
The enclosed illustrated instructions make things even easier as they suggest where to start to glue each piece.
That said, I wouldn't recommend the shark or the wings as a debut model.
■ A4 Paper (160-220 gsm) or US Letter (65 lb cover or 110 lb index like this one for example: https://www.amazon.com/Neenah-Astrobrights-Premium-Assortment-Inches/dp/B003A2I6T2)
■ Cutting tool
■ Scoring tool (the dull side of a craft knife, dried out ball pen, etc.)
■ Ruler
■ White glue
■ Pin or nail
■ And obviously, a wall.
Coloured or patterned A4 (160-220 g/m²) or US Letter (65 lb cover)
American friends, this kind of cardstock is fine (this is *not* an affiliate link): https://www.amazon.com/Neenah-Astrobrights-Premium-Assortment-Inches/dp/B003A2I6T2
■■■ GLUE
Quick drying white glue! (mundane quick drying wood glue, or Aileen's, or Elmer's, or Mod Podge, an so on).
I wouldn't recommend: glue sticks nor transparent liquid glues.
Don't worry, all these recommendations are reminded in the instructions along with extra advice on how to glue properly.
Ask 180 gsm (65 lb cover) in priority, then 160 gsm (110 lb index) if they don't have 180. (The tutorial is to be printed on regular office paper, or not to be printed at all)

I'm just asking you not to share or publish the files though, and not to use them for profit of any kind, as my work is copyright protected.
