Haven't gotten to start it yet - but the pattern arrived promptly. Will need help making it fit my measurements - but I have friends to help with that. hopefully will find it fun and not too challenging! Edit from first attempt at a mock up - did try to follow this but it seems like there are parts missing in the pattern (where is the bouffant aka the side pieces?) and directions are also missing (like when to attach the back piece). I understand that they are just translations (I speak and read French so if they had been larger maybe I could have read them and understood it better). My friend who ciphers Victorian patterns frequently & I could not understand where things may have gone missing? I am sure eventually we will figure it out. Its more of a puzzle than we expected.
