This listing is for one hand-crafted fine silver coin/pendant made in Ligonier, Pennsylvania.

The design of this pendant features a Death Head Hawk Moth. The scientific name of the moth is Acherontia atropos. Atropos was one of the three Greek goddesses of Fate and Destiny.

Designed and hand-produced by Andrew Thornton. Each coin is hand-pressed one at a time and includes fingerprints of the maker on the back. Even though they are all made with the same mold, each is different and unique. They are then hand-buffed and sealed with Renaissance Wax.

Each pendant includes marks of the maker; these are not defeats, as they give the piece a rustic charm. They are purposefully left to show the artist’s hand.
