On seeing my crocheted Dalek, one of my friends suggested that I try a crocheted TARDIS next. Though I wasn't sure how to begin, my first try turned out decently well, and with a few modifications, I am now able to bring you the crocheted TARDIS plush you see here!

The TARDIS is crocheted from 100% acrylic yarn. The windows and plaque on the front door are cut from white acrylic felt and stitched on with cotton thread and cotton-poly blend thread. The "Police Box" tags were created for me by Jen at http://weavingone.etsy.com from black felt. The light on the top of the TARDIS is a small plastic bead capped with a blue sequin. The entire thing is stuffed with fiberfill.

The TARDIS measures about 7 1/2 inches tall (19 cm), including the light. The base measures 3 inches (7.5 cm) along each side.

This item is not meant for use by children. Although all pieces are securely affixed, they still present a hazard, so please keep this item away from children.

The TARDIS should not be washed or dried. It may be possible to spot clean with a damp cloth.

(Each TARDIS is completely handmade, and may vary slightly from the one pictured, especially when it comes to the stitching on the windows. The Doctor Who RPG book is not included.)

If you would like to purchase the TARDIS and have it shipped to a country not on the list of available countries, please contact me. I have discovered that the price to ship this item overseas is fairly high (as evidenced by the price to ship to the U.K., which is based on experience), probably due to the heavy duty box in which it ships.
